Horsemanship and Riding Instruction Day Camps:
Summer Break, Spring Break, and Winter Break.
Campers become familiar with the needs of a horse and the responsibilities of a rider in an upbeat and fun environment with fellow students. Riders must be at least 8 years old and at least 4 feet tall. Warning: This is a camp for those who want to spend a lot of time on a horse! Campers spend 2 hrs a day in the saddle minimum and learn all about the horses feeding and nutrition needs. They learn basic ground work grooming and the anatomy of the horse. As well as how to read a horses temperment and how to oversee there wellbeing. We offer beginers western style riding and the more advance riders have the option to ride engish or western. Instruction is offered by certified centered riding instructor and covers basic thru intermediate and expert riding skills. Games on horse back! Kids have an activity rich week. Time is provided for lunch. Please have child bring sack lunch.

9am - 9:30 Feed ranch and zoo animals
9:30 - 10:00 Horse assignment for the day groom and tack horses
10:00 - 10:30 Inspection
10:30 - 11:30 First lesson
11:30 - 12:00 Cool down and untack horses
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 2:00 Arts and crafts tack cleaning or arena set up.
2:00 - 2:30 Tack up horses
2:30 - 3:30 Second lesson or trail ride
3:30 - 4:00 Untack horses
4:00 - 4:30 Feed horses and zoo animals
4:30 - 5:00 Pick up
